Our History

  • Established 1993

    PPSACanada.com was first established as LIEN INC. in 1993 to provide desktop software applications to conduct PPSA searches and registrations electronically. Originally debuting as separate DOS applications, both have evolved to Windows based applications and now exist as an integrated Web Application accessible from a PC with an Internet connection and Internet Explorer.

    Our customers include major banks, credit unions, automotive financing, large equipment companies, and several national and regional leasing companies.

  • 1994 Launched Ontario PPSA solution
  • 2001 Launched a Nationwide processing solution
  • 2002 Acquired Equifax Canada lien division

    PPSA Canada acquired the Equifax Canada Lien search and registration division introducing our system benefits to many large Equifax lending customers.

  • 2004 Acquired Capitol Title, launched a nationwide land title solution
  • 2007 Launch of redeveloped web interface
  • 2012 Developed a comprehensive XML-based B2B solution for all PPSA processing services
  • 2014 Integration with Strategic Information Technology (SIT) Loan Origination Application (LOA) for banking and financial systems
  • 2015 Integration with Doxim's Loan Origination System
  • 2016 Integration with Central 1 Loan Origination System
  • 2018 Strategic partnership with Securefact

    All Securefact Lien customers migrated to the PPSA Canada platform

  • 2018 Integration with Inovatec Loan Origination System
  • 2019 Launched nation-wide EasyView Search Summary and Parsed Lien Search Data product
  • 2019 Integration with Constellation Financing Systems ASSET and EDGE

    PPSA integration with the EDGE front office and ASSET back office solutions offers full asset finance life-cycle lien processing
